The Global IT team has been invited to Kudjip Nazarene Mission Station in Papua New Guinea in order to expand the station computer network to a new administration building. This new building will serve approximately 50 staff from Kudjip Nazarene Hospital, Rural Health Services, Nazarene College of Nursing, and the Melanesia/South Pacific Field Office.
The Project will include:
-Migrate and expand the hub for the station?s wireless Point-To-Multipoint network bridges
-Recalibrate all wireless bridges
-Terminate 60-70 network cable runs.
-Install 2 new network cabinets, UPSs, patch panels, and network switches
-Install new wireless access points
-Install 40-50 phones
-Install IP surveillance system
Kudjip Station has standardized on Ubiquiti Unifi network equipment for user connectivity and Ubiquiti AirMax equipment for uplinking of 13 buildings.
Skills Needed:
- Network cabling
- The ability to climb ladders to hang wires and access points
- Network infrastructure skills (wired and wireless)
- VOIP/SIP voice technology
- The heart of a learner

The cost per person is is yet to be determined. It will be based on Flight cost plus $45/day. This includes housing, food, and tourism day.
